Sara Gilgore is a staff reporter at the Washington Business Journal, covering innovation, health care, biotech, life sciences, startups and education in Greater Washington.

She earned her master’s in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, where she focused on magazine writing and editing, nonfiction narrative storytelling and multimedia reporting, as well as video editing and production. She received her bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University, where she majored in psychology and Spanish.
